How to Double your Income as a Freelancer
I have wondered about how I could double my income as a freelancer, not until I got a clue which I’d like to share with you. A month ago, I got a message from a buyer on fiverr.com, which happened to be a US citizen. A consultant to be precise. He did not have that much time to spend negotiating on the business we wanted to do together. Therefore, he stated his Budget without asking my opinion on the Contract and said he had nothing more than that. I never argued with him in any form but stated every aspect of the Contract one after the other. Double your freelance income.
To make this brief, we eventually concluded on a sensible term which I think falls to my favor. Not because I magically manipulated him or reduced the quality of his work. But I did what I see as an Expert Jargon. He came with a Budget of $100 but he eventually paid $150 on the same project. How was I able to convinced him was the secret behind what I called “Expert Jargon“.
Being a Freelancer, you’re an Expert in any Niche you find yourself if you’re able to satisfy the desires of your customers or buyers. You don’t need anyone to tell you all that. The Quality of your Work is as a result of your Professionalism.
What were the secrets behind an initial $100 project that eventually led to$150?
These are just ideas that need modifications and adjustment. In other words, you need to apply them carefully as everyone isn’t the same. Different people with diffrent approach. What works for Client A might not work for B.
1. Familiarize yourself with your Clients. When you’re meeting a for the first time, the first thing to do is to try as much as possible to create a familiarity between two of you. Let them know that you’re the most sincere personality that’s not only interested in working and handling their projects, but also interested in knowing them in terms of lifestyles and official relation. You know what I mean. Don’t look too strange to them. Doing this will ease their temper and reduce their anxiety or fear of releasing their projects and money into your hands.
2. Ask them to state everything they want in their Projects. By doing this, you will know exactly what the Client actually need which makes you to understand the project before you start any work on it. If it’s something you can handle, you’d know from the start and if otherwise, you’d know what to do to make it work out or you reject it and give your opinion.

NOTE: Don’t rush into any Project anyhow because it might jeopardize your reputation. Humble yourself!
3. State your Pricing Precisely. When stating your Price, have it in mind that the same customer might be dealing with more than three (3) professionals like you and you know you won’t want to chase him or her away by your unbearable Cost. Just be precise! That doesn’t mean you won’t increase the Cost and settle with their decision. No, that’s not what I am saying.
Do not approach a Client with your Cost or Pricing immediately when they asked you to do so. Rather, tell them the benefits of your work( Professionalism) and the additional items that would be included which part of them would be done for free. For example, if you’re dealing with a Client that wants you to Ghostwrite an Ebook, state all the benefits their Projects would derive and what other Professionals cannot ans would not do for them that you would include. Such as Rich and Free Plagiarized Contents, Well-Researched Information that could blow off the minds of their audience.
You can make the Extras to be Editing, Proofreading, and even Formatting. Every author would want to edit, proofread, and format their book which are Professional services entirely. You might not offer everything as Extras but manipulate their minds by offering one for free.
You all know that Editing and Proofreading would be done for free because as a Writer, you correct every sentence from the beginning as you start the Projects. Therefore, it’s no stress and it’s as if you’re doing it for free. But it’s an aspect of writing and sentence correction.
You can make the Book Formatting an Extra with affordable Cost. Tell them why you’re doing this and why they can’t find anything flexible like this from any Seller outside there or on Fiverr.
4. Fast Delivery. This is one of the best ways double your income and to make a Client happy and make them give you Tips and Recommend you to other Clients. Work on your Delivery time and Deliver your Jobs as fast as you can with Quality finished Projects.
With all these points above, you could Double or Increase your Earning or income and Exposure manually. The more a Client Recommends you, the more Exposure you get.
